Are you getting the most from your ICT?
Becta is committed to helping schools, colleges and Local Authorities address their ICT challenges, so that through technology learners of all ages are better educated for life.
The week of BETT opened with an exciting announcement by The Prime Minister, The Rt Hon Gordon Brown MP around the national rollout of Home Access, a government programme managed by Becta, which provides grants for computer and internet access to low income families.
Visitors to Becta's stand at BETT were able to find out more about this and all the other projects, products and tools that Becta has developed to help them to Inspire Learners, Raise Standards and Engage Families.
Handy guides and directions to relevant areas on Becta's website, as well as all the presentations are now available to download from Becta at BETT.
13th January saw the announcement of the 2010 Bett Award winners - organised by Emap, Becta
and BESA (the British Educational Suppliers Association), the BETT Awards recognise and celebrate the best and most innovative technology solutions available for UK classrooms. For more information on this year's winners go to BETT Awards.
