Sony has designed a platform with a supporting training programme to deliver tangible educational transformation.

The platform is designed to operate as a seamless integrated system on the existing IT infrastructure that can be accessed from all areas both within the school and from home via the school portal.

Each school has its challenges and the platform can be adapted to suit your objectives.
The general approach & purpose of the Sony media platform
Modern technology has changed the way most of us live. But increasingly, for children and young people, it's all they've ever known. Personal computing, email, the Internet, digital music, digital video, mobile communication - it's how they operate; it's what makes them tick.
The premise of the Sony media solution is based on the simple principle of capturing the moment of learning together with individual activities and engineering the organisation and process for retrieval and playback in a managed and controlled platform.

Each pupil will have examples of their classes, their practical work and their contribution on video to keep on their space as a record for review or to show to their parents.

Video assets can be broadly divided into two areas; lesson capture and evaluation; the capture of other activities relevant to education such as sports, media and culture.

The media platform being proposed will ensure that the school can get the benefits of such a system without huge investment in change management in teaching and time allocation.
Our role is to introduce the technology alongside the skills to create, manage and publish media within the school workflow and operational practicalities in order to enhance the leaning experience.
