Phil Tobitt - Producer Fred

A Short Biography of a Tall man

Upon leaving college Phil started out as a video tape editor and production assistant working for a production company specialising in minicam Point of View and instructional video production for the corporate and sell-through markets.

After 3 years he went freelance as a broadcast Sound Recordist, working on Children's ITV broadcast programs, corporate and sell-through productions along with other production related jobs. Having freelanced at INM as a consultant, Phil joined the staff as Head of Media and Production Services. Building up the department to the level of three edit suites, editors and CD / DVD duplication along with video-for-web encoding kept him rather busy. In this position he worked with a variety of clients notably Compaq, HP, Microsoft, Adobe, Nortel, BT and many others. Now a director and producer at Fred Productions, Phil concentrates on Corporate Media productions including Event Management, crew resources and facilities management.

Phil is married with three young children and enjoys gardening (badly), DIY (quite handy really) and lying under Land Rovers (covered in oil and broken bits).
